Following successful completion of training, he obtained the CCT (certificate of completion of UK training) in Feb 2011 and practised as a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon in the National Health Service in West Yorkshie, UK, before returning back to his native city of Chennai in September 2013 after 14 years in UK.Dr. Jameel has also undergone Robotic Surgical training at the University College Hospitals, London. As a Consultant Surgeon and Educational Supervisor in UK, he has trained a number of surgeons on the Yorkshire basic and higher surgical training programme
