Dr. D. V. Nagarajan , Cardiologist Doctor in HYDERABAD

Dr. Nagarajan moved back to India after having worked in UK and USA for over 14 years. He implanted India's first MRI compatible Biventricular Defibrillator in 2012. He has performed over a thousand Electrophysiology and cardiac device related procedures. He spent two years in cardiovascular research in Manchester following which he entered six years higher specialist training program in Cardiology with subspecialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology and device therapy at Nottingham University Hospitals, UK. He has completed ACGME accredited fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Kansas University Medical Center. He also passed certification examination for competency in Cardiac Electrophysiology conducted international board of heart rhythm examiners, Heart Rhythm Society, USA. He has subsequently worked as consultant cardiologist at Heart of England NHS Trust, Birmingham, UK. Over the last 15 years he has presented in international meetings and has several publications in peer review journals. His main areas of interest include complex ablation therapy for Cardiac Arrhythmias and device therapy for patients with severe heart failure.
