Dr.Sunil Rajendran did his MBBS form Calicut Medical College and MS in General Surgery in 2002. He cleared DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in 2005. He did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Vascular Surgery form Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences (SCTIMST), Trivandrum in 2005. He was admitted as Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), New Delhi in 2005 and as Member of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of Edinburgh, UK in 2006.
He did further training in Vascular Surgery at various hospitals of international repute. In 2006 did his advanced training in vascular surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital, London, UK and then in 2008 at Augusta Hospital, Dusseldorf, Germany. In 2009 he was selected for Endovascular Fellowship of Vascular Society of India and did the same at St. James’s hospital, Dublin, Ireland.
Had been in Vascular Surgery practice since 2006 and had been consultant in Vascular Surgery at Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Calicut, Kerala till December 2009. He had been working as Assistant Professor in Surgery and Consultant in Vascular Surgery at MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala from August 2008.
He has extensive experience in dealing with all types of Vascular Surgical Problems. His areas of interest being, Limb salvage surgery, Infra-popliteal angioplasty, Venous interventions & AV access surgeries. He has been faculty at the meetings of Vascular Society of India (VSI) meetings in 2009, 2010 and was also faculty at the meeting of Venous association of India (VAI) in 2010 and also at various meeting of Association of Surgeons (ASI).
