Dr. Damir is specialist in Diabetic Foot Care, Wound Management & HBOT.
He has a vast experience of over 20 years in the field of podiatry at many reputed national and international hospitals. He has done a fellowship in Diabetic Foot Care at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Chicago, USA, after which he underwent specialized training in foot surgery from SL Raheja Hospital, Mumbai, India. He is a prolific writer and besides writing articles in many prestigious textbooks, medical newsletters and journals, he has authored a book titled "Madhumeh – Kaise Jiyen Masti Se". He has also written the “Diabetic Foot Symposium” of JIMSA (Journal of International Medical Science Academy, Oct.-Dec.2011).
He is an esteemed teacher who has been teaching Diabetic Foot & Wound Care to post graduate doctors and has organised and participated in many CME’s and teaching workshops at various medical colleges. He is associated with numerous national and international diabetes societies and organizations.
He worked at Fortis C-Doc as HEAD - ADVANCED CENTRE FOR DIABETIC FOOT CARE.
