Dr G R Vijay Kumar is a renowned Neurosurgeon and a Consultant Neurosurgeon at AMRI- Salt Lake, Kolkata. Dr Kumar has done Neurosurgery training in UK at some of the best hospitals in the world, like the National Hospital for Neurosurgery at Queen Square, Great Ormond Street hospital and Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. His special areas of interest and expertise are complex brain surgery, surgery of brain tumor both in adult and children, endoscopic and minimal access surgery of Brain and Spine. He is also an Education Director for AO and was rewarded as Chairperson of education for AO spine Asia-pacific group. He teaches and demonstrates surgery at Spine surgery courses across the globe.
