Introduction:
Dr. V. Sreedhar Reddy a leading name in the department of Urology has over twelve years of experience in the field. An expert in his area, he is known for conducting Laser prostate surgery and minimally invasive surgery for kidney stones. He is also known for his expertise in performing surgery for sexual dysfunction and in treating of urinary problems in females & children. He is currently with Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore and he aims to bring the Urology department on the world map.
Experience and Expertise :
In a career span of 12 years, he has done a commendable job in the teaching field. He started his career as a Senior Registrar in the department of Urology, subsequently, he became an Assistant, Associate and an Additional Professor in the same Department. After having worked for more than a decade at KMC, he joined Apollo Hospitals Bangalore, as a Senior Consultant and Kidney transplant surgeon in the Department of Urology.
Biography:
Dr. Sreedhar did his basic schooling of medicine from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. He attained his MS in General Surgery and MCh in Urology from the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. He then obtained his DNB in Urology from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He has been awarded the Fellowship in Renal Transplant Surgery. Dr.Reddy has visited various countries including U.S.A to gain further knowledge in his specialty.
