He did his MS in Surgery from prestigious AllMS, New Delhi where he was awarded Hira Lal Gold Medal for being the best post-graduate in surgery. Thereafter, he went on to complete his MCh in Surgical Oncology from well-renowned institute for cancer management i.e Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He was there for 4 years, and he got the opportunity to work and get trained with some of the stalwarts in the field of cancer surgery. Thereafter, he worked as Assistant Professor in Surgical Oncology for 2 years in Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. He brings his rich experience in the management of complex open and laparoscopic cancer surgeries. He has many publications to his name in both national and international journals and has also presented papers and posters in both international and national conferences.
