Dr. Neera Bhan studied MBBS and MD in gynaecology and obstetrics at the prestigious Lady Hardinge medical college, New Delhi. During MD and the following years of senior residency in the same institution, she received rigorous training in surgical skills from some of the most eminent gynaecologist surgeons of the country and underwent the training in managing high risk pregnancies at Smt. Sucheta Kriplani hospital, a tertiary care hospital in the heart of the capital. To enhance her understanding of the subject on a global scale, she worked in U.K, Australia and Kuwait, where she had gone under training by reputed international surgeons like Dr Roger Fay, pioneer of laparoscopic gynae surgery in Australia. Hence, she cleared the membership exam of the Royal College of obstetricians and gynaecologists of London which had a pass percentage of fewer than 5%.
