Dr. Ajay Mathur earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Mumbai in first class in 2008. Afterwards, he was a Dental surgeon at the National Hospital in New Delhi. He received his master degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, with highest rank in his batch. His master thesis was selected for the MDS thesis grant by Indian council of medical research (ICMR), Min of Health, Indian Govt and received the highest grade of Outstanding from the University. After finishing his master he had been to USA for his higher studies and conducted research on stability implants in mandible and maxilla bone at UCONN, USA. He received best clinic research award from DCI president for his research on bone quality and implant stability at 8th Asia pacific orthodontic conference. American Orthodontics, Wisconsin, USA had given him a special grant for his research on Implants and Class II correctors. He has done more than 10 national and international publications and presented several papers in national conferences. He has designed and developed different indigenously skeletal anchorage system (Implants) for absolute anchorage. He is experienced in treatment of complex Dentofacial orthopedics cases including cleft lip and cleft palate. Dr. Mathur is also specialized in lingual (invisible) braces.
