Dr. Rajeev R. Sinha has worked in many transplant centers both across India and abroad. He started his transplant training first at New Delhi, in 2007 which were the highest volume Living Related Liver Transplant Centers in the whole of India. He was one of the starting and core member of the liver transplant team. Later on he went to USA in 2011 and worked at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. There he was extensively trained in Liver, Kidney and Pancreas transplantation along with donor organ retrieval surgeries. He is a American Board certified organ procurement surgeon and is listed with the Organ Procurement Organization (OPO)- “GIFT OF LIFE”, Philadelphia, USA, which is the largest OPO in USA. He is also a trained and certified “Da Vinci” robotic liver surgeon, performing robotic liver resections and complex HPB surgeries. Before joining KMCH, he was working as a consultant, Multi-Organ Transplant Surgeon at Bangalore and has helped them to establish their Liver Transplant Program.
