As the director of Baheti Hospital and Centre for Reproductive Health care at Jaipur and M.L. Baheti Hospital and Research Centre at Kota, Dr Vinod Baheti has expertise in treating male infertility as well as male andrological problems. In addition to general surgery Dr Baheti has major experience in doing various laparoscopic procedures and latest microsurgical techniques such as Epididymovastomy and reversal of ligations of vas and fallopian tubes.
Dr Baheti obtained both, the basic MBBS degree in the year, 1969 and the Master of Surgery (M.S) in the year, 1975 from the S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur He pursued his Advanced Surgical Training in General Surgery in the UK and was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Edinburgh (FRCSE) in 1980 after having passed the required examination.
He received advanced training in Plastic surgery and micro vascular surgery at Bradford under the guidance of Prof T. Barclay. Dr. Baheti has also had formal training in Assisted Reproduction Technology from Singapore University and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery training from Dundee, UK, under the guidance of Prof. Sir Alfred Cuschieri.
In addition to gaining work experience as a practicing General Surgeon in India since 1982, Dr. Baheti has also worked abroad as a consultant surgeon at a large and modern Insurance Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and also in the International Hospital of Bahrain.
His special achievements include the establishment of the First Laparoscopic Surgery, Plastic surgery and Microsurgery Centre in the south east of Rajasthan state in India. He is the first to have performed laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Rajasthan State. His main interests include Male Infertility, Microscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Dr. Baheti works with various NGOs in Medical Care projects and is an Active member of IMA, ASI, IAGES, AMASI, Andrology society of India, Kota Cancer Society and Founder Member of Kota Blood bank Society.
