He also did special training in Cardiac Electrophysiology from Mount Sinai Medical School, New York, USA and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, USA in 2001.Dr. Sapra has been very active in the field of Interventional Cardiology and has over 18 years of rich experience. He has independently performed over 10000 vascular interventions including coronary angioplasties, balloon valvotomies, peripheral angioplasties including renal and carotid angioplasties and congenital interventions including PDA and ASD closures. He has keen interest in the field of electrophysiology and has performed numerous radiofrequency ablations including complex ablations using electromagnetic CARTO mapping. He also has extensive experience in implanting various pacing devices including implantable defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers (cardiac resynchronization devices).
