Procedure : VARICOCELE EMBOLIZATION
ABOUT VARICOCELE EMBOLIZATION:
Through a small incision in the groin, a catheter is passed to testicular vein via femoral vein. Once the exact location of the problem area has been confirmed, the vein is embolized or blocked using coils/particles. This blocks the blood flow in the problem vein thus helping to cure varicocele without open surgery. Done under local anaesthesia as an OPD or Day care procedure, it is performed by an Interventional Radiologist or Urologist.
