He completed his MBBS and DCH from Bangalore Medical College (BMC). After his Post graduation he worked as a Senior Resident in Department of Pediatrics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, had completed DNB in Pediatrics from same institute. He worked as Registrar in Pediatrics at Sagar Apollo hospital, Bangalore. He worked as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at PES Medical College, Kuppam. He completed his DM Pediatric Neurology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He joined BGS Global Hospital as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist in 2010. He had many national and international publications for his credit. He had vast experience in treating refractory epilepsy with Ketogenic diet and other dietary regimens. His special interests are Epilepsy, Developmental Neurology, Neurometabolic and Neurodegenerative disorders, infectious and inflammatory conditions.
