Clinical Research Detail Title Of Study A clinical trial to study the requirement of isoflurane and vecuronium in diabetic patients with and without diabetic autonomic neuropathy undergoing elective surgery; as determined by entropy and NMT monitor respectively- A prospective double blind study. Disease Condition 1. To determine requirement of isoflurane and vecuronium in diabetic patients with or without autonomic neuropathy undergoing elective surgery. 2. To determine the hemodynamic profile during anesthesia in diabetic patients with or without autonomic neuropathy undergoing elective surgery 3. To correlate anesthetic dose requirements of isoflurane and vecuronium and hemodynamic profile with autonomic status of the patients. 4.To propose guidelines in diabetic patients with or without autonomic neuropathy for -pre-operative assessment of cardiovascular autonomic function -Perioperative monitoring standards.
