Dr. Rupin Shah is a Urologist who has dedicated himself to Andrology – the super-speciality that deals with male infertility and impotence. He went to Belgium for training in Andrological microsurgery in 1986. He is the first urologist in India to have this training and is a leading expert in the area of microsurgery for the treatment of men with azoospermia and microsurgical vasectomy reversal. In 1994, at the 6th World Meeting of Impotence held in Singapore, he was awarded the President’s Video Prize for developing a new technique of microsurgical penile revascularization.
