Lumbar spinal stenosis impingement of caudal nerves root at n4/n5 both side

Reply: Dear Sir,
Spinal stenosis refers to narrowing of the spinal canal commonly seen due to degenerative changes in the spine (bone/disc/ligaments) leading to pressure on the nerves exiting from that area. In lumbar area, this leads to problems like back pain, tingling, numbness, weakness, etc. in the affected limbs. Non surgical treatment options would help to reduce the symptoms but will not improve the narrowing. It includes medication, physical therapy, traction, etc. If having severe symptoms, surgery maybe advised, like Laminectomy or Spinal fusion.
Please consult a specialist for review and advise regarding suitable treatment options in your case based on your present clinical status.
