Presently working as a Sr. Consultant in Medical Oncology department at BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi
He has got work experience of more than fifteen years, of which more than six years of work was as Consultant Medical Oncology & Hematology at Medanta the Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon where he was independently responsible for managing all cancer patients and was also involved in academic activities including training of oncology students and oncology nurses. Besides he has also worked at other major hospitals of Delhi including Sir Gangaram hospital and Hindurao hospital.
He has quiet a few national & international publications to his credit. He also has edited few oncolgy related chapters in various books and online resources such as First Consult. He is an active participant in oncology related educational activities including dissemination of information & training activities in Oncology.
He is qualified & experienced in management of all types of cancers. However he has got a special interest in the management of Lung Cancer, Breast cancer, Colorectal cancers, Genitourinary cancers including Cervical cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Kidney cancer, Bladder cancer, Prostate cancer, Myeloma, Lymphoma, Leukemia and Sarcomas. Besides he is a strong proponent of oncology related clinical trials and is actively involved in phase I, II and III clinical trials for cancer patients.
He is strong proponent of regional chemotherapy especially intraperitoneal chemotherapy and HIPEC in ovarian cancers. As his social responsibility, he regularly organizes & participates in cancer screening & prevention programs including public awareness talks.
