Dr.Verma is among few dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiologist in India and has experience of performing over 2000 Cardiac Implantable Electronic devices (Pacemaker, CRT-D and ICD) and 1000 Radiofrequency Ablations. He has one of the largest experience in doing 3D Electroanatomic Mapping of Ablation for complex Arrhythmias such as Ventricular Tachycardia and Atrial Fibrillation.
He also specializes in Pediatric Cardiac electrophysiology and has done numerous Radiofrequency ablations in children as young as 3yrs old.
He is also among very few Cardiac Electrophysiologist who specializes in Lead Extractions. Sometimes the old implanted Leads of Various CIEDs, (Pacemaker, CRT-Ds, ICDs) requires removal. This is a very complex procedure and require special equipment’s (Laser and Mechanical cutting tools) and expertise. He is the only doctor in north Indian trained for Lasers assisted Lead extraction.
He is running dedicated Arrhythmia clinic for all kinds of Arrhythmia at PSRI Heart Institute. All kinds of treatment for complex arrhythmia are provided under one roof. Latest technology in complex arrhythmia ablation such as use of force sensing 3D Mapping Catheter which drastically reduce the Radiation Exposure of the patient are used here.
