What is Ask4healthcare?
Ask4healthcare is India's most comprehensive healthcare portal connecting patients with fellow patients and with healthcare providers ranging from doctors to hospitals, diagnostic labs, disability help organisations, blood/organ banks or nursing care organisations. Helping bring down the cost of treatment and more transparency into how healthcare is delivered.
If you are a patient - on the portal you can do the following:
1. Post a query on the "Health Exchange" and receive quotes and responses directly from the healthcare providers into your inbox. Your personal details are kept confidential.
2. "Consult With Experts" on your Health problems from Ask4healthcare panel of experts
3. "Membership Discount Offers" , become a member and avail discounts at over 100 providers across India
4. Post an open question on your general health query on the "Community Q&A" section and learn from responses from fellow patients and care givers
5. Create your own "Electronic Health Record."
6. Search for a provider and rate a provider.
If you are a healthcare provider - on the portal you can do the following:
1. "Register your profile details", get a personalised website & answer a queries on the "Health Exchange" and connect directly with patients looking for a provider with your skills in your city .
2. Search / Post Jobs-Healthcare Job Board
3. Join our panel of experts.
4. Answer patient queries on the "Community Q&A" section - all the answers answered by you shall be visible on your profile.
5. Create your own healthcare "Blog"
6. Download "Free Resources".

How does Ask4healthcare work?
A. Health Exchange - Post a query.
1. Sign in/Sign up at your Health Portal - select "Health Exchange".
2. Submit your health question .
3. Visit your "My Discussion" page.
4. Start interacting with providers who respond to your query.
B. Consult with Experts.
1. Sign in/Sign up at your Health Portal - select "Consult with Experts" & choose the consultant
2. Write your health question .
3. Complete the payment formalities.
4. Get answer from your Specialist in your "My Discussion" page.
C. Avail a health discount card - Become a member
1. Sign in/Sign up to your Health Portal - select "Membership Discount Offers"
2. Select the best plan for you (Individual / Family).
3. Choose the payment mechanism (Cash / Cheque / Online)
4. Provide the complete delivery address / member details.
5. Receive your Personalized membership card within the next 7 days at the address specified by you.
D. Post a generic health query on the "Community Question & Answers"
1. Sign in/Sign up at your Health Portal.
2. Select the appropriate disease segment of the "Community Question & Answers"section.
3. Post your question and you shall receive a response within the next 48 hours.
Is Ask4healthcare free?
Some of Ask4healthcare services are free like Asking health questions in the community, creating personal health record, posting a query on the health exchange or searching for providers.
The following Ask4healthcare services are not free:
1. "Consult with Experts".
2. "Avail a membership discount card".
The paid services start from an economical Rs 450 / annum.

Do I need to register?
Yes, registration is required to subscribe or participate in any of Ask4healthcare services. Registration would take less than a minute.
What if I forgot my password?
You can retrieve your password which will be sent to your E-Mail-ID. You can always reset your own password.
Why can't I log in?
To login, you will need to use your User Name and password that you entered while registering to Ask4healthcare. Registration is required before you can login. If you have registered and are unable to login, check your password. If you forgot your password, you can always retrieve your password which shall be sent to your email ID.
Payments and claiming for refund
What are the payment options available to me?
We accept payments online, through all major credit / debit cards and fund transfer options available through major banks. You can also deposit a cheque at any HDFC Bank branches across the country. For more details visit our "Membership Discount Offers" page.
When can I claim for a refund?
If you are not satisfied by Ask4healthcare Service You can claim for refund of your amount paid to Ask4healthcare. No question will be asked and your money will be refunded within 24 Hours.
How much refund will I get ?
You will get 100% of your amount in your account as refund.
How can I claim for refund?
Just drop a mail at healthcare@ask4healthcare.com mentioning your reason of claiming for refund. Our customer care team will contact you within the next 48 hours of your request and get the money refunded to you.
Asking questions
How long should I wait for an answer?
If you are posting your question in the open "Community Q&A forum", there is no timeframe set, however on our side we make sure that no query is left unanswered for more than 48 hrs.
However if you are seeking a paid "Expert Opinion", you will receive a call from our team in within the next few hours and if all the details are in order, the second opinion in the next 24 hours.
If you are looking for treatment options and quotes from providers in your city and have posted a query in the "Health Exchange", you shall receive a call from our team in the next few hours, once the query and your personal details have been verified, you shall start receiving responses directly in your inbox within the next 24 hours.
How do I ask a question to Doctor on Ask4healthcare?
It is just 3 step process:
1. Login to Ask4healthcare.com, click on "Consult with Experts" & choose the doctor you wish to consult with.
2. Write your query and click on "Proceed to payment"
3. Select your Payment Option - complete the payment and receive replies from the consultant in your inbox.
OR
1. Login to Ask4healthcare.com
2. Post your query on the "Health Exchange" after choosing the option "Doctor for your ailment"
3. Receive responses from doctors in your city of choice in your inbox on "My Discussions" .
How safe is my personal contact information?
Ask4healthcare respects your privacy, hence we never share your personal details submitted alongwith your query, however our proprietary system still allows you to interact with the providers directly. Once you are comfortable with the responses that you have received, you are free to share your contact details with that specific provider.
However to ensure only genuine enquiries on our portal, our team would require all your contact details and might give you a call to understand the specific nature of your query.
Membership Discount Offers
Is the discount valid even for multiple use?
Yes, unlike single use coupons, our discount offers do not come with a cap on usage. Therefore you save every time you go for investigations, OPD or hospitalisation services.
What are the other benefits of a membership / other than discounts?
Discounts are just an additional benefit of your membership. As a member, you can avail all our services even over a phone call. Just call our call centre 011-60606464 and let us know what you are looking for, we shall go out of the way and get you the right information and the best quotes possible. You shall also be receiving regular health updates and invites for free health check camps.
As a member you become part of an extended family and can count on an organisation which you can bank upon in times of your need.
Do I need to book an appointment through you to avail your discount offers?
It is not compulsory however it is always advisable to call us, so that we can let the concerned provider know in advance as well as to reconfirm the offer validity + inform you about any other new offers (as we are working towards adding new offers on a weekly basis). In case you are visiting directly, do not forget to carry a valid photo ID with you.

If your service is anything for the benefit of patients, we shall be glad to register & showcase your services - Doctors / Hospitals / Diagnostic Services / Blood, Organ & Eye Banks / Disability Help Organisations / Ambulance Services / Nursing Care Organisations / Medical Equipment on Rent Services are already there - Don't worry - if you do not fit in any of these categories - we shall be glad to create a separate category for your services.
