During his stint both at AIIMS and Rockland, as the Head of the Dept. of Orthopaedics, he developed and nurtured all sub-specialties of orthopaedics and made it a centre well-known for state-of-the-art surgery in all fields.He applied the best medical practices learnt at AIIMS at Rockland Hospitals by putting a major thrust in academics, research and patient care. He was the editor of Indian Journal of Orthopaedics for six years, Vice-President of Delhi Medical Council, President of Association of Spine Surgeons of India & President of Delhi Orthopaedic Association. He was also appointed as the Honorary Surgeon to Honorable President of India. He has been bestowed with many Honours like the prestigious Padma Shri Award and T.P. Jhunjhunwala Charitable Trust Award and was associated with many orations. He has excelled as an administrator, as an academician, a research worker and a versatile Orthopaedic Surgeon. He has been associated with Rockland since the inception of Rockland Hospitals in the year 2004 and since then has devoted his services for the patients of Rockland Hospitals.
