I have a small enlargment in my thriod gland.It is not painfull but its size is increasing slowly.I have consulted our family doctor in my town adilabad.He says it is a thyriod.I want to take second opinon on this from one of the good doctor in nagpur.Please advice.

Hello, My left thyroid gland has become large which can be understand from outside, its almost like goiter. But thyroid rests are normal, FNAC is also normal. Left thyroid gland is becoming large day by day. Please suggest me where i can go for the best treatment and name of the doctor in KoLKATA.

Seeking best doctor consultation/treatment for thyroid enlargement in Kolkata
My left thyroid lobe is slightly larger than right thyroid lobe. My age is 34 years and my thyroid cyst is around 08 years but till now no problem arise. Please informed me the approximate treatment/surgical cost of my thyroid cyst in Peerless hospital Kolkata. For your kind information I enclosed herewith i)USG report of Thyroid ii)Hormone analysis report(These reports were performed in Bangladesh before one year). USG OF THYROID. Right lobe : Normal in size, measures 3.7 x1.4 cm with uniform echotexture. Left lobe : Grossly enlarged in size 5.1 x 2.5 cm, heterogeneous echogenicity with variable sizes multiple cystic lesions are seen. No calcification seen. Isthmus is mildly enlarged in size. IMPRESSION : Suggestive of Grossly enlarged left thyroid lobe with multiple variable sizes cystic lesion. HORMONE ANALYSIS REPORT Estimation Carried out by MEIA/FPIA:IMx Abbott(U.S.A) Thyroid Function Test Serum T3 Result: 1.88ng/ml Reference: 0.8-2.0 ng/ml Serum T4 Result: 9.42 µg/dl Reference: 4.5-12.0 µg/dl Serum TSH Result: 1.29 µIU/ml Reference: 0.47- 5.01 µIU/ml From the above Thyroid report please suggest me which is the actual treatment for me Surgical or by Medicine in Kolkata, India. Your early reply will be highly appreciated.
